PADAPPRAMBA, one of the erstwhile parts of Valluvanad Swaroopam dynasty in the erstwhile princely state of Kerala, a predominantly muslim populated area with muslim tradition, is well known for its friendly and peaceful co existence with Hindus, comparatively smaller in number. While the muslims gather in their mosques for their prayers and congregations and celebrate their various festivals in its joy and pomp, the Hindus keep their rituals and rich tradition and celebrate their festivals in the temples with regular devotion as done in other parts of Kerala.

AL HILAL ACADEMY PADAPPARAMBA, registered under Society Act 1860 and situated at the heart of Padapparamba on the Perinthalmanna road with eight institutions under its umbrella, is a boon to the people of Malappuram District and various other parts of Kerala since it caters their educational and cultural needs, offering value based education, emphasising on Islamic values and deeds with little disregards to other religious values. It is run and managed by Al Hilal Educational Society with Society Registration No.701/1990 and has been functioning as a guiding star for 29 years since 1990 with a vision and mission of spreading the rays of knowledge and moulding the children to grow up as befitting citizens acquiring both modern and spiritual education to shoulder the duties and responsibilities towards the society and the country as a whole.
